You’ll be ushered through a stone archway to within the walls of Villa Gardenia - an open air atrium from which you’ll enter the Great Room. Air-conditioned and gracious, this common space contains a place for gathering for conversation or to enjoy the flat-screen TV with Blu-Ray DVD player or the Bose sound system; entertainment options also include a Sonos music system and Amazon Echo. Sit-down dining area is adjacent, as is a well-equipped gourmet kitchen. French doors to one side allow for ambient light and a view to tropical gardens.
Whether you desire a four-course masterpiece or simpler fare, Villa Gardenia's exceptional kitchen will provide all the space and implements you need to please one and all! This is truly a "social kitchen,†with marble counter tops along 3 sides (one of these sides providing a spot for taste-testing or friendly chat, with 6 barstools). At its center is a 5-burner gas range, along with 2 ovens and microwave and an array of implements and utensils for the most discriminating gourmet.
The powder room is nearby; one corner serves as a home office for those need to remain engaged with the outside world. It contains a fax, laptop and high speed internet service along with Wi-Fi for all to share. The laundry room is separate and just off the kitchen, and contains a wine cooler. Screen doors open to the serene walled patio; local blooms and foliage offer quiet along with a custom bench with cushions, wicker seats, a gas grill and an outdoor dining table for 8.
This villa is fully air-conditioned and goes beyond the comforts of home! Three bedroom/bath suites are off the Great Room. The king master suite features a Select Comfort Sleep Number bed and is paired with a bathroom of luxurious marble, raised tub, and roomy shower (plus W.C.); this bedroom also has its own cedar-lined walk-in closet and doors that open onto the covered terrace. Bedrooms 2 and 3 (a queen + sofa bed and king, respectively) access the terrace via a hallway. The queen bedroom has a marble bath with glass-enclosed shower; the king bedroom's bathroom is all marble as well.
From the Great Room, descend a few stairs to the tiled pool and hot tub, as you take in the ocean view which contains St. John USVI to your right, and the islets of Hans Lollick, Little Tobago, Just Van Dyke and Tortola… work on your tan and your daydreams as the Caribbean sunshine works its magic! Make the best of the outdoors with the outdoor bar above the sun deck, with its own built-in gas grill and nearby 8-top dining table.

Villa Gardenia now offers access to the SONOS Wireless HiFi speaker system in the kitchen, dining, and Living room areas of the villa. Use your wireless device (iOS or Android) or laptop (Windows or Mac) and the free app which may be downloaded from www.sonos.com, to stream and enjoy your favorite playlists or link your music or radio service (i.e. Pandora, Live Radio)
Amazon Echo:
Villa Gardenia provides the Amazon Echo wireless speaker and voice command device. Your attendant is "Alexaâ€, who provides information, answers questions, plays music, reads the news, checks sports scores or the weather and more – instantly. Alexa is also capable of voice interaction, music playback, setting alarms, providing weather, and other real time information like "flash news†from NPR and the Wall Street Journal.
King Select Comfort Sleep Number bed in master bedroom, king bed (OR two twins - with advance notice) in the back bedroom, and a queen bed and sofa bed in the middle bedroom. The guest bedrooms are air-conditioned sufficiently to cool their bathrooms; the Master bedroom's bath has its own air-conditioning unit. Max headcount at this villa is 6 persons.
Villa Gardenia incorporates solar energy panels and high-efficiency LED lighting; the pool pump and all air-conditioning units in the villa have been upgraded, incorporating the latest energy-efficient models.
